FFmpeg and the LGPL
Video export uses FFmpeg, which is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public Licence, version 2.1 or later. We use an LGPL build of FFmpeg, without GPL-only components. The FFmpeg source code is available from ffmpeg.org, and we will provide the source of the version we ship on request. You may replace the FFmpeg libraries in the app with your own build, as the LGPL allows.
Fonts
The interface fonts, and the Inter and JetBrains Mono fonts the rendering engine uses for the built-in motions, are licensed under the SIL Open Font Licence 1.1. They are bundled with the app, with their licence texts, and are not sold on their own. If you have your own copy of Inter or JetBrains Mono installed, the engine uses yours.
